Abstract

Cancer causes significant physical and psychological impact. Individuals with cancer are at increased risk of suicide compared to the general population. There are few studies in Brazil that investigated suicidal ideation in cancer patients. In this context, the objective of the present study was to verify the prevalence of suicidal ideation in cancer patients, examining sociodemographic characteristics and other possible correlated variables,
