Abstract

The objective of this research is to evaluate the quality of life of patients with laryngeal cancer and indication of total laryngectomy as primary treatment, whereas changes caused by the disease and therapeutic interventions employed. We used a demographic questionnaire and Evaluation Questionnaire for Quality of Life at the University of Washington (UW-QOL).
