The Body Image Disturbance (BID) is a nuclear indication of obesity, characterized by an incapacity of adequately notice the self body size, influenced by the experience with the body weight and shape. The aim of this study was to assess the obese women perception of their self image. Qualitative study done with three obese women between 35 and 40 years old, aleatory picked up. As implement to evaluate the graphic manifestation of the BID, was used the version of the Karen Machover´s Draw a Person Test, according to Zukerfeld. After the test, was also applied a questionary to the obtainment of extra data.
