Psychological Risk for Patients in Radiotherapy Treatment

Psychological variables are related to coping of oncological patients, highlighting the importance of early intervention. Objectives: Understand the socio-demographic and clinical profile of patients who show psychological risk by screening them using the Psychological Risk in Oncology (IRPO) during the radiotherapy treatment. Method: 262 medical records of adult patients who hadundergone radiotherapy treatment in 2018 and 2019 and responded to IRPO were evaluated. Results: 30.7% of the sample indicate risk of poor psychological adaptation.
